This policy sets out how CaRe 101 handles the operational data your foundry creates: defect photographs, classifications, and the statistics built from them. It complements our Privacy Policy, which covers personal data.
The defect records, photographs, and classifications you create belong to your organization. Versatile processes them to run the service on your behalf and for no other purpose without your instruction.
Each organization's data is logically isolated. Users of one foundry cannot see, search, or export the data of another. Your records are scoped to your organization at every layer of the application.
Images are held on reputable cloud object storage and are reached only through short-lived, signed links. Uploads and downloads travel over encrypted connections. Access is granted by role, so an inspector, supervisor, expert, or admin sees only what their role permits.
The floor app captures offline. Records taken without a network connection are stored on the device and synced when a connection returns, and synchronisation of already-captured records is not blocked. Your captured work is not lost to a lapse in connectivity.
When you switch on model training, a model is trained on your foundry's data and is used only for your organization. We do not expose your images or classifications to other customers, and we do not sell your data. OCR and AI-assist offer suggestions only; the final classification and disposition of a casting remain your responsibility.
How your data is used for training depends on the plan set for your organization:
The shared base model is built only from Versatile's own or licensed data and from contributor customers, and it does not carry any customer's raw data across to anyone else.
Your records and images are retained while your account is active. On the standard and contributor plans, images may be moved to archival storage and kept to maintain and improve your foundry's model, rather than being deleted on a fixed clock. On the full-isolation plan, images are not retained for training and are purged on a set schedule.
You can export your records at any time. You may also request deletion of your data at any point - your right to erasure under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 - and we will honor it, subject to any obligation to keep limited records by law. On termination, your data is deleted or returned to you on request; absent a request, standard and contributor data may remain in archival storage to maintain your model, which you can require us to delete. See our Terms.
Access is protected by role and PIN. Administrative actions are recorded in an audit log so changes can be traced. We keep the platform patched and monitored.
We rely on a payment processor for billing and on cloud infrastructure for hosting and storage. A current list of sub-processors is available on request.
If a security incident affects your data, we will notify you and act as required by applicable law.
