Privacy Policy

CaRe 101 is operated by Versatile Equipments Pvt Ltd ("Versatile", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use CaRe 101, why we hold it, and the choices you have. It is written for our foundry customers and their users.

1. Data we collect

• Account data - your name, work email, organization name, GSTIN (if provided), assigned role, and a sign-in PIN or password (stored only as a one-way hash).
• Content you create - defect photographs and the details you attach to them: part, defect type, zone, shift, quantities, and notes.
• Technical data - browser and device information, log data, and IP address, used for security and to keep the service running.
• Billing data - the details needed to raise a GST invoice for a paid plan. Card and bank details are handled by our payment processor and are not stored by us.

2. How we use it

• To provide, operate, and support the service.
• To authenticate users and enforce role-based access.
• To bill paid plans and issue GST invoices.
• To keep the platform secure and to meet legal obligations.

We process this data to perform our contract with you and, where required, on the basis of your consent under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

3. Storage and security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Photographs are held on reputable cloud object storage and are reached through short-lived, signed links. Access is controlled by role and PIN, and each organization's data is isolated from every other organization. Further detail is set out in our Data Policy.

4. Sharing

Your data is not sold. It is shared only with:

• our payment processor, to complete billing for paid plans;
• infrastructure providers that host the service, under confidentiality;
• authorities, where disclosure is required by law.

We do not use advertising networks and we do not share your defect data with other customers.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use a sign-in token stored in your browser's local storage to keep you logged in. We do not set third-party tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

Account and content data is kept while your account is active. Depending on your data plan, defect images may be held in archival storage to maintain your model (standard and contributor plans) or purged on a set schedule (full-isolation plan); the detail is in our Data Policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and we will honor it, subject to any legal retention obligation. On termination, your data is deleted or returned on request.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and you may withdraw consent. To exercise a right, or to raise a concern, write to our Grievance Officer at support@versatile.group.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified to account admins. The date above shows the current version.
